D day here finally..well actually D day part I..
So..here i am being askd by almost everyone i know why i m so tense. Let us use probability ot explain this. The expected number/average no. of companies each year coming to said college is 15. One can land a job easily in 2 major Pool Recruiters. Now, although the intake of the rest of the companies is quite less, the intake STILL exists. I.e the candidate if rejected by his primary probable recruiter is allowed to sit for the other ones. Now..I can sit for the main probable recruiter Alone..And if don't crack it, too bad for me..So while others have a probability of landing a job as 1(at least 1 job(15), total jobs (15), hence 15/15) while I have the probability of 0.50 (no of favourable outcomes =1(i get the job), no. of total outcomes 2(either i get the job or i dont)
So..to sum up..EVERYONE has bloody double their chances of getting a job as compared to me..
Hows that for a good reason to freak out!
